Full board at Black Tomahawk Farm includes daily care and routine management focused on consistency and the well-being of each horse.
Full Board
Stall or pasture (run-in) housing, as selected
Feed provided twice daily at consistent barn feeding times
Free-choice hay
Turnout and routine bring-in/out
Fresh water available at all times
Stall cleaning or run-in/shelter maintenance
Normal seasonal blanket changes using owner-provided blankets
Daily visual checks and regular monitoring
Basic fly control management (seasonal)
24/7 onsite presence

Supplement administration (owner-provided)
Medication administration (owner-provided)
Soaked Feed / Mash Prep
Catch and hold for scheduled veterinary or farrier appointments

Owner Responsibilities
Maintaining a current Coggins
Keeping vaccinations up to date
Coordinating routine veterinary care​
Scheduling dental care
Scheduling and paying for farrier services
Providing all supplements and medications, clearly labeled with instructions
Participation in our Coastal Hay Program
Providing basic equipment for their horse (halter, lead rope, and blankets), clearly labeled​
Communicating any special care needs or changes
